The kind of thing we take
Sofas, mattresses, wardrobes, white goods, broken furniture, bags of household clutter and the general stuff a home collects over the years all go on the van. A tired armchair on its own or a whole flat's worth after a tenancy ends is the same service, just scaled to the job.
A few things follow separate rules, fridges and certain electricals among them, and we tell you up front what we can take and handle it correctly.
The lifting is ours, not yours
Unlike hiring a skip, nothing has to be dragged to the kerb and there is no permit to sort for a skip on a Croydon street. We come into the property, carry the items out ourselves and load them onto the van. That is the point of the service: the heavy, awkward part belongs to us.
Down from an upper flat, up from a cellar or out of a shed at the bottom of a Kenley garden, we get to it and carry it out.
Where it actually ends up
Where it goes matters. We separate what can be reused or recycled from what has to reach a licensed waste site, rather than fly-tipping it down a quiet lane. That protects you too, since fly-tipped waste traced back to a household leaves the householder facing the fine.
If you want reassurance it has been dealt with properly, ask and we will explain how it was handled.
How a clearance is priced
Rubbish removal is priced on how much there is, usually by the space it fills in the van, plus the access at the property. Describe roughly what needs to go and we will give you a fair figure.
Send the details and we will book you in, often for the same or the next day.
